BUYING CLUB HEADS ABROAD

Does anyone know if theres anywhere in the states where a mate of mine could buy a club head for me while he is out there?

Golfsmiths or any of the usual kind of stores would be your best bet. Ask him where he is going and google the area for stores.
To be honest though, you wont be making much of a saving out of it at the moment.
