Hi All ,
I have a high handicap of 24 , and have been useing my 3 wood mainly , i am mainly hitting it to the right , but i feel i need a bit more distance of the tee and to correct my slice would anybody recommend a driver or any other club that could assist me in this

Many Thanks

Does your local pro own a car?

If so, then he's all the driver you need.

Oh- also..... search the site for "Driving Woes".... there's a video on there which REALLY helped me.

Welcome along to the forum. Where do you play and how long have you been playing. The simple answer and it isn't meant to be glib is get a lesson. If you can learn to swing properly you can choose any driver and you need to learn to control the slice if you want to progress.

Mark - suggest (as virtuocity says) that you visit a good golf pro for a series of lessons before thinking about shelling out on any new clubs. Much more useful (and cost effective) in the long run.
