I'm thinking of purchasing a driver from the Buy & Sell page on these forums. What are people's thoughts on buying a club without being able to try it out? I know plenty of people have done it, but there is just this nagging thought about buying a club that I might not get on with

Find one in American golf and hit it. Or yu can just sell it on if you buy it for a reasonable price and not make a loss

have bought from here several times and never been disappointed, decent community where people are genuine

if youre buying recent enough tech then the resale should be most of what youve paid so little risk to the process imo

Buying 2nd hand isn't as risky as buying new without trying as long as the source is reliable.
If you pay, say, £150 for a 2nd hand driver on here and it doesn't work out, you should be able to resell here or elsewhere for a similar amount or with only a small loss. You may get lucky and the club works, you may get lucky and sell for more than you paid...

I've bought countless clubs unseen down countless years. Only ever got one pup, a Callaway FT9. It was club I'd always wanted but I just couldn't get away with it.

Quality-wise I've never had a dodgy one.

At the end of the day, you can always sell it on, probably at a very little loss at all.

Cheers. Have decided to go for it

GOod man, i'm sure you won't be disappointed. I've bought and sold from here on many occasions and i know i've always been happy with what i've received and folk seem chuffed with what they've had from me. Much more reliable that other 2nd hand mediums out there.

I've bought my last two drivers and my hybrid off ebay without trying them, just based on online reviews and recommendations from people on here. But the prices were only around 50-60 quid each time to be fair, if I was paying a lot more I might think differently.
