Had my iron fitting this afternoon at 1pm - but my swing wasn't great when I was out last night so I went to St Andrews Links range this morning to tinker.

Got somewhere decent and headed to Perth for the fitting - at Noahs Ark driving range - pro was excellent and Flightscope was great fun. New speedblades ordered and paid for - here next week I believe.

At that point I'd hit 250 balls today - I think that's more than I've ever hit in a day before.

Got home and went out for nine holes on the wee course at Monifieth (The Ashludie) in a 30mph wind - front nine is par 33 and i shot 37 without really making any putts - pretty happy tonight - that 62 on the front nine at St Andrews seems a long time ago.

To be fair I didn't hit them that well - drove well and scrambled really well
