Bushnell X Tour range finder

Wouldn't it still be illegal for competition use in the same way any other device that does something over than give just yardages is, wether you use the option is neither here nor there.

From what I understand, it's the faces that allow for slope etc. If you don't have the face on, then there's no problem.

[SUP][/SUP]As above, no lens conforms to r&a rules for comp golf, ad the red clip on lens give slope reading.

Ideal when learning a new course and easy for competitors to see if your using in slope mode

Had a look at one when I was at Celtic manor a few months back , looks like a v3 with clip on slope lens

Got the z6 tour version, it's great. So easy to use, and the jolt is a great feature. For me, it's the 120 to 80 yard shots where it pays it way - I'm useless at knowing, and now can choose which wedge to hit with confidence.
i love it.

Another vote for Tour v6. Feels so much more compact and premium compared to plastic of v3. Not sure if the X is same plastic as v3 or metal of v6. Also got a great deal in AG and picked up v6 for £265 (£4 less than they had the v3 for). I'm sure I could of gotten similar discount on the v3 but they felt worlds apart.
