Me and Missis T are having a mucky weekend in Lancashire. Gods country it says on the map. Done Rochdale yesterday, me birthplace. Bury market now. If ever you are feeling depressed , come here for a sausage and egg barm with a bean dip and a proper cuppa. Sit down, watch the world go by and see proper characters in the market. I just love it. Stocking up with Lancashire crumbly, Barms and black pud then off up to clitheroe.

Bloody hell. Had anyone on here been for a beer in Holmes mill at Clitheroe 😳
Stunning. Only bettered by the place next door hotel spinning block. Possibly.

We stayed in the hotel the other week on a Sunday. The bar with the engine in was closed when we got there though but they kept the restaurant open for our group and we had a great night. Seems Clitheroe shuts at 8 on a Sunday.

Not this time. Still nattering with me auntie. Oddly enough were staying at best western Langho which has a golf course.
