Hi all

I'm due to go on my holidays soon and every year I burn my lips to the point they swell/blister.....I'm already suffering after 2 days playing golf at the weekend.

I've tried all sorts of SPF30 and 50 lip blocks that claim to do the job but they've been an absolute waste of money. I'm tempted to find some of that white stuff that the cricketers use and accept I'll look (even more) a prat.

Does anyone have any real life experience of anything that works?

Think that horse has bolted, if they're already burned you need to treat the burn but going back out in the sun isn't the way to do that. Guessing that's not going to suit you so wide brimmed hat to shade face and maybe use Blistex MedPlus balm which is in all the chemists and would be a help I think, you can clart it on there and it'll stay. I use it out skiing (which is a lip-chappy activity also!) and it works.

Prevention not cure............................................for next time.;)
