If you decide to cut across the lake of the 8th, take a LOT of club!

Completely misread it.. I thought the ditch on the gps was the 2nd ditch rather than the first...Should have taken a 3W or driver. Instead took a 6i and smashed it. Everyone applauded the percentage page. I could not have been more smug. My FC also did the same.
So imagine our heartbreak when we discovered the ditch. My FC fished his out and dropped. Next shot on the green. I could not find mine, so dropped one, but got on the green too!! 2 putt to escape with a bogie to half the hole.
Should have taken an extra club. Topped my 3W and it rolled into the bank near the tee box
2nd shot sideways, 3rd to the right of the green. Luckily my PP won the hole (the only time he contributed)..Great course, but cant underestimate the walk between the holes..

Not played golf on there...... but did used to play on there as a kid and pick potatoes out of the field..... Still has the small fenced area on the other side of the Pikle where my grandad kept his horses.
