I've never even done that by mistake, with a 5-iron maybe, but a wedge.....

Would be more realistic (but far less dramatic) if it showed a curved hook, rather than the straight, 90* degree turn, then straight ball flight

I don't get it, so he can replicate a slice effect to a shot, how is this any diff to holing from a bunker or any other shot type, the only challange was distance control, the shot effect itself is a peice of wee to do, now if he could do that and he was left handed..........oh wait!!! ok it was a fair shot

He should never have had a shot. A proper golf course with proper rough and he'd have been dead, punished appropriately for such a horrendously wild tee shot. Mickey Mouse Stuff, all that was missing from that shot was a windmill and a clowns head.

It was drawing done by his caddy, not tracked. I would think the angle coming out of the trees was much less than that drawing and hence a much smaller hook needed.
