Journeyman Pro
Had infinity for around 6 months now and has been plagued with issues since day 1.
Initials speeds were around 30meg but have been dropping like a stone and settle at around 5.
Lots of calls to the not so helpful call centre and resets get it back up to 12 and finally this week got an engineer out who tested the line and said I should be getting 27-28.
He replaced the cable from outside and ran it to a new master socket inside.
When he left it was running at 25.
Said it would take a few day to settle.
Day 1, 22, day 2 15, day 3 11, day 4 4-5, day 5 1-2.
Last night nothing.
So I understand that it takes the hub a few days to find the stable speed but I'm now beginning to think the hub is fooked.
Anyone else had similar issues ?
Back to the call centre today, going to see if I can get hub replaced.
If all else fails any suggestions for another vdsl router ?
Draytek seems o be a popular suggestion but the are quite pricey.
