Brs booking

Does anyone use this to make booking for their club? I've had an email saying they have activated my account? I can log in and view tee times, but next to available tee times it just says view only, and not book, like it says on the guide. Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something obvious before I ring up

Just messing around in ours and don't see anything marked view only, doesn't matter how far in advance I go

Our system is set up that you can only book times after 11am, so all the tee times before that are view only

Looks like I'll have to ring up, when I click on a day to play, I get all the tee times, I get the names of people who are already booked in, member/visitor/comp etc. Then all the available times but instead of saying book on the right hand side it says view only

Conpetition days are preset so you can only book them so far in advance. Some days cannot be booked at all unless by the office/proshop etc. Give them a ring and clarify as every club is different.

Had the same thing happen when I first went on at my place. Questioned it and turned out they just needed to activate my account at the clubs end of things. May be that. Pro did it for me in shop there and then. Worth asking the question to see if it's that.

Thanks Rick, I spoke to Ian today and he wasn't sure how it all works, so ill check with James when I next see him.

I couldn't log in at all until it was activated so something must of happened during them activating it.

Danny we have the drs system at our place and when you get used to it, it is fantastic.

We use BRS and I also have rights to set up and override the system, never seen anything about view only though, if a date is not available to book it will say "not live yet"

Yeh it does look handy, seeing when others are teeing off. Made the mistake today of going after work without looking and ended up teeing off just after a group of 4. So was a lot of waiting around. Ended up jumping past them and skipping a few holes

I am sure I will get it sorted over the weekend

I know the whole internet booking thing has been done to bits but I have booked our fourballs til the middle of September. Tuesday and Thursday's, brilliant system

Unsure if you got sorted or not but one reason you had view only may have been the days you looked at hadn't been open to booking. Ours only permits 3 days in advance and Tues open for Sat comp.

Not been back to the club yet, I've got a lesson on Tuesday so hopefully sort it out then 👍🏻 I have looked at everyday over the next week and every available time only says 'view only'

Ours also shows view only until we are allowed to book. With ours its 8 days in advance or if signing on guests more than 8 days you need to phone the pro shop.
