I wouldn't call it awesome until I knew that no local jobs will be lost due to the takeover by a global player.

Call me old fashioned (and I am) but I'd prefer to see BRS remain an independent company than be swallowed by another big multi-national, BRS seem to have done a good enough job so far.

Not quite late breaking news but it seems our local company has caught the eye of a bigger player in the game.
I dont know if/how it will affect uk services but seems pretty awesome that a relatively new local business is going global in such a short period of time.

Great deal for us as a club.

Free use of the BRS online booking modules.

I know that they are hiring for application trainers for Belfast at the moment so seems good so far. Time will tell though, just find it surprising in a good way that two lads from the street next to where I grew up (at the same time) made a decent fist of what is in essence, a simple idea but well executed.

Online booking is one of the very steps we mentioned in a thread only a week or two ago. Clubs that actually want income from visitors cant afford to lose out on the potential earnings that this system brings. Now that said, some clubs do their best to discourage societies and visitors, it would still benefit the members though so they know when the teebox is free and when it isnt.

Thats the way I look at it, if I am kinda pushed for time I can have a quick look at the timesheet and decide when is the best timke for me to nip out on my own. We get an awful lot of visitors and tourists (americans) at my place, so for me to look at the web and have a good idea when the best time to get out is excellent IMO.
