Wow what a round today managed a 84, 40 out 44 in pb before was 93 and I still dont really have a handicap as my first ever full round was September last year, baring a few par 3 pitch and putts.

So happy

The next target is to make sure you never ever break 90 the other way i.e. upwards. Well played.

Well done! Its such a good feeling isnt it!
i always thought when i broke 90 it would be with an 89, but i whooped it like you with an 84 ;)
hope all your games in 2012 are as good!

One of my targets for this year. Shot 91 last year so aiming to beat that this year. Well done on breaking the 90 mark so quickly and by such a margin. Bring on 80 next!

Got nothing but green eyed jealousy for anyone playing or practicing at the moment. Great shooting though to knock so many shots off your PB. Is the back nine harder or were you checking the score and getting a bit squeaky bum and making a few errors

To be fair Homer the back 9 is prob a little harder but I do normally play it better than the front 9 my pb on the back 9 is 43 so still one shot off that, think when I looked at my card after 9 and saw 40 I went off a little next three holes were a double bogey 6, a bogey 5 and then a tripple bogey 7, from then I just had to calm down forget about the score and stop wasting silly shots. Had two putts horse shoe the hole and just stay out too.

I have also changed my grip to vardon after interlocking since starting. Has a lesson with a diffrent pro and he advised me to changed during an hour lesson on the short game. Guess it is paying off now after finding it tough at first.
