Just been invited for a round here next week, never played it before but just looked at website and looks stunning. Really looking forward to it.

Broadstone then Woburn a few days later, only work getting in the way😁

Well worth playing. Had a good round there so if I can score around it I'm sure you can.
You must have played well, because it is a tough course. Hardest of the top Dorset courses in my opinion.

Hoefully you will play it on a calm day Guy, as it is a brute in the wind. Sure Drive4show will buy you a small shandy if he is around.;)

I need to get down there and give Gordon and Louise a rematch following our game at Hayling. Not sure I'll get away with playing off 18 next time though 🤔🤔

As you know mate , wind or rain i will still have a smile on my face 😁😁

May pack a few more golf balls though.

Great course, one of my favourites. Score as many points as you can on the 1st hole as it gets tough for the rest of them:)

High on my bucket list, not played any of the Dorset courses yet 😞

Enjoy Guy 🏌️⛳

Yeah an opportunity for them to avenge sounds good

Enjoy it Guy.

Guy if you figure out how to play the 7th let me know please!! Lovely course enjoy :D

Mere mortals should play it as a par 5.

"A strong Par 4. Tee shot should be at the marker pole to allow for the right to left contour of the fairway. Long hitters will get home in two, but if you are unsure, lay up in the valley short of the cross bunkers to leave yourself a pitch up to the green. A four here is always a good score."

Mate, you have seen my golf , so you know that there is no chance of me figuring the 1st never mind the 7th mate 😁😁

The 1st is easy, just don't go right or you will be in the heather or water filled ditch:p
But seriously, enjoy as it is a great golf course.

Well just played there. What a beautiful course, i will be going back in summer as i can imagine how good it will look then.

I can honestly say i loved the place, if i had the money i would happily join there. I have no doubt that my golf would improve playing there.
Course was hard but fair and as a high handicapper i still enjoyed it and only lost 1 ball.
I found all the holes well laid out and interesting to play, in my opinion the 18th was the weakest of the holes on the course, but still a very good hole to play.

First tee shot straight into the heather on the right (cheers Srixon 1 😁😁)but managed to recover and walk off with a 5.

7th hole, was decent drive, lay up in valley, chip on walk off with 5.

The greens had loads of hidden breaks and for what i am use to were fast, but true.

All the members i met were approachable and happy to talk.
Managed 17pts front and 13 back. So happy with how i played.

Cracking course, if not played before get your arse there for a round.

As you probably gathered i loved it.😁😁😁

Next on the list Woburn on Friday.😁😁

Glad you enjoyed it. I agree it's a fair and playable course for all standards. Good news about the members being friendly too. So many clubs still have members that look at visitors as some sort of interference. It's getting better but they're still out there
