Did anyone see the interview between Eric Bristow and Piers Morgan this morning?
I know Bristows words were not wise but I though Morgan was bang out of order considerering his past.

Bristow is a throwback and not the brightest. A good example of why some people should not be allowed on Twitter. His career on tv is over.

Morgan is painful, fond of his own voice and with a huge ego. Sometimes on serious issues though he remembers that he can occasionally be a proper journalist and won't let go. I'm okay with what he did on this occasion.

Bristow should never have been allowed to peddle his views on any kind of media. Come to think of it, maybe Morgan should have been sailing in the same boat.

I am surprised that the Footballers have gone to press and TV at this early stage, does this not prejudice their case before investigations and charges being made?

Going public has given many others the self belief and confidence to come forward and speak to the police about what has happened to them - the amount of police areas now investigating the issue is at 17 I believe with Derby the latest. Both the main culprits being talked about have already been sent down ( the Crewe and Newcastle coach ) and currently serving senatnces.

Woodward has enabled the floodgates to open.

If the first bloke hadn't of been brave enough to go to the media others wouldn't of come forward and as they have proper investigations can take place.
Just like Saville, allegations were made years ago and nobody listened.

I think this is going to be bigger than Saville unfortunately. Bristow did have some good points although very badly made, Morgan just came across as a higher than thee attitude which sums him up, just can't stand the guy. Best keep Bristow out of the media tbh.

I understand that but could the police not give out a statement that a number of Footballers have made complaints about being sexually abused by coaches when younger and could anyone else believing they had been abused come forward. I would have thought discussing the allegations in the media would prejudice a Jury. Just a thought.
