Played with them at the Centurion .. cracking ball, although there's a couple of them in the rough there now.

Nice feel on all shots. Lovely for short game and putting.
They do spin a bit too much for me as my bad habit is a slice. I now use the RX as it doesn't punish me as much when I'm not swinging as well as I can.

My ball of choice for a couple of seasons now, although currently using Wilson DX3 soft due to the price hike on the Bridgestones. The Wilson is very close in feel and performance and half the price.

It's a great ball, I was very surprised at how good it was. I currently have around 6 dozen of these at home.

So in comparison to the ad333 which I think is a decent ball for the money , is it worth the extra poundage , ie better around the greens but longish off the tee

Agreed. The RXS spin more than most off the driver. The RX is better for me than the RXS and is great around the greens too.

Bought 2 dozen on offer over in Ireland for 50 euros thought maybe similar to the pro v1 I always use and can say hand on heart they feel nothing like them won't be buying them again
