Got my hands on a dozen of these the other day and had my first hit with them today (9 holes).
So, howt did they do...?
I normally play the TM Burner TP ball which, as a 3 piece, is for me the best I've hit. Off the driver I'm normally around 250-260yds inc carry/roll-out, nice soft feel off the irons and good spin control on short shots. The major drawback is durability of the Burner TP, one a round normally.
This sounds like a TM Burner TP review I hear you say at this point, let me move on in that case.
So, today I played two balls the Burner TP and the Bridgestone e6 and here is what I found.
At first glance the e6 is an odd looking thing with dual dimples (one inside the other) and it does feel slightly heavier and firmer.
Off the driver the BTP was giving me my normal 250/260yds while the e6 was at least 10yds longer on 5 out of 7 drives (in one case the drive was almost 300yds at 295 - confirmed on a Skycaddie SG5). Felt solid and off the driver face and as the name suggests, straight as a die. Ball flight was visually higher and stayed up longer with minimal sideward movement.
Long irons I am having issues with anyway so didn't see much difference other than they felt more solid off the face, but that same cannot be said for my short irons and wedges.
On the two par 3 holes (both 7 iron mid flight shots) the e6 was straighter and longer than the BTP, the only difference being that the BTP held more on landing.
Wedges I felt that the BTP gave a better feel off the face but that didn't stop the accuracy of the e6 being higher, I hit 5 wedge shots of around 40-50yds and on each the e6 was within 4ft of the pin where the BTP was short by about 8-10ft.
Putting the e6 definitely feels heavier and more solid of the face and definitely travels further. As a comparison a putter draw of around 6 inches with a medium speed stroke put the e6 around 7-8ft whereas the BTP was around 5-6ft. A great ball for the mid-high handicapper in my eyes.

Overall, I felt that the e6 is a strong contender for being "highly recommended" and while I will see out using the BTP's that I have in the bag, I am 99.9% certain that the next balls bought will, indeed, be the Bridgestone e6 Straight Distance.
