Hi there,

I realise I should probably do any introductory post, and I thought here was a good a place as any!

I'm a relatively new golfer, I played briefly as a 14 year old, forgot about it, got given a set of clubs last summer, played on and off until September, and then started playing again about March this year. Safe to say that this time, the bug has well and truly caught hold.

My motive behind both posting, and joining up really, was to see if there were any forum members that are members at Brickhampton GC in Gloucestershire, and whether they fancy a round? Ideally I am looking for someone with a handicap, as I am currently trying to get 3 cards together for mine, but struggling to find people to sign my cards. I have spoken to the "new members liason officer" who is being very helpful in helping me find people, but I thought I may as well use another medium, which also gives me the chance to meet potential other members of the club!

If you think you could help, or if you just fancy a round at any point, I'm more than happy! I can't promise I will be amazing, but I can promise to shout fore, just before/as/after the club flies out of my hand. (that was kind of a joke, I can't afford to lose or break any clubs!)

If you aren't from around here, then hi anyway!

Hi, just posted in your other thread and then seen this. I often play at Brickie, although I'm not a member. Another forumer (Zlinuk) is a member though.

Happy to have a round sometime, in fact I have a range loyalty card to use. I played there last week and the ground was pretty sodden, hopefully it's drying out now.

Ahhh ok, I will look out for him then! Thank you.

I'm more than happy for a round at some point, always nice to meet new people, and i'm sure I can make you feel good about your golf game in comparison to me! Might wait until I have a handicap though, trying to make that a priority at the mo! Had a knock around the back 9 last night, seems to be a lot drier (the greens did anyway).
