So were you breastfed. How do you prefer yours.

My son was bottle fed, medical reasons, my daughter breast fed. My wife did it mainly at home but if out then subtly and without fuss. You would never have been aware that it was happening. I don't understand people complaining about people breast feeding but I do think a very small % of women sometimes want to make a point for the sake of it on this issue.

The Dove advert has achieved it's purpose, it has brought Dove a load of publicity by printing a picture they knew would bring complaints. Well done the ad agency.

For breast feeding obviously. But there is nothing to stir. Breast feeding is au natural and it seems to me that something like this that gets on yer tits ( pardon the pun ) well folk need to get out a bit more.

In the regards the OP - its still quite clear that some people are offended by mothers breastfeeding their babies in public

Also because we had issues with breast feeding our little girl has been bottle fed using expressed milk and even then we have been judged negatively because she isn't being breast fed

Totally agree. I think I would say that the mother should exercise an air of common sense about where and when but they shouldn't feel ashamed or intimidated about doing it
