Hello all,

i am 14 and i am currently on half term . I have played and practised every day of the half term and was delighted today when itpayed off. At the course i am a member at the par in the winter is 67. Today i carded a 79 and my handicap is 20. I went 8 under handicap with a nett 59. It just shows how much practise pays off. This was the first time that i have ever broken 80. My previous best was 82. I am also playing tomorrow, thurs, fri, sat and sun. :D :D

Congratulations Feary

That was great, It sounds like you practised hard and it paid off. Was it in a junior comp? Did you get cut or have you got a halfterm comp this week?

Keep up the good work and your enthusiasm, and your handicap will soon come tumbling down

Ah if only?!?!

Well done Feary.

It's good to go to the golf club over school hols and see kids who have been dropped off at 8 o'clock with a couple of quid and a box of sarnies, 54 holes later and they're picked up again! Not a bad way to waste a day.

Well done Feary

I'm sure with all the half terms and summer holidays, your handicap will drop like a stone this year. Keep up the practice, and play well.

Great shooting there Kido!

My lowest was an 82 (on the PGA at the belfry of all places)

Still looking to break that landmark, I think I will do it this year at my new club. Some decent birdie chances at my new track, but also some not so easy par 3's.

Playing tomorrow, I forgot it was halfterm!!! I hope you don't play in Milton Keynes Feary? I'd be destroyed on the course by a 14 year old whizz kid - not sure that'll do my confidence much good!!!
