Hi All
today hubby and I went for our complimentary round at Brailes Golf club nr Banbury with the intension of possiblity of joining.
The hospitality on arrival was second to none, we were given a course planner and shown around the factilies. We then tee'd off and even though our playing was hurrendous the course was superb. The course condition was fantastic and the layout proved to be a real test of golf.
with fairly narrow fairways and smaller greens than we are used to and alot more water and rough we soon found out that you couldn't just tee up and belt it, you had to think strategically.
we completed our round in 3.25 hours and then went and had a breakfast, very nice it was too.
Overall a smashing club, appeared very friendly, we were approached by a number of members to chat and good factilies to boot.
We have signed the paperwork and as of next Sat we will be official members of Brailes Golf Club.
