im surprised I have not seen any info about this on these pages,none of the headings lead to it and seem just to concentrate on the pros,this along side the other two amateur championshiops must be the pinnacle for us amateur golfers,i will be going on FRIDAY and hope some of the other north west forum members will be going and seeing what the top amatuers are really like,pity the mag hasn't posted anything or is it getting just for the pro game now.

4 guys I know are playing in it. Was going to pop across and watch a few hours tomorrow but a meeting has scuppered that plan!

It'll be a good few days, as these boys can really play!!

decided not to play in it this year, the bad weather at the Amateur champs put me off, can't stand playing in wind and rain:smirk:
