Boysnope Park, Manchester

Its not bad. Not great but not bad. Fairly wide so you can get the big dog out. The first hole can be a bit tricky, and there's a couple of decent par 3's.

The course isn't that old really, maybe 15 years or so. As mentioned, the course isn't bad with plenty of opportunity to practice your long drives. The 18th hole is quite long with a water hazard and the trees being tight against the back of the green.

Played it a couple of months ago and hated it. Like playing on a big open field, fairways weren't great and nor were the greens. Was only chosen for the non-regular players as it's cheap and not very challenging.

Plenty of good courses around Manchester. But that is not one. Why not try North Manchester or Whitefield both nice tracks. Even the Muni in Heaton park is a good one.

Agree with the above, the pylons dont help either !! Not worth a trip from Preston imo. If your meeting a mate halfway, maybe somewhere like Haydock park would be better .

Whitefield has a fee offer on at the mo. 60% off. Only £20 at weekends less in the week. With it being in north Manchester. You can usually get on easy on a Sat. Just looked at the online booking and plenty of tee times for this Sat. Nice course very friendly members. Will be joining there Myself in the new year with a bit of luck.

Thanks for the comments chaps. The guy I am playing with is a member there and has invited me down for a game. If it wasn't for that then after reading your comments I probably wouldn't bother playing there and would opt for one of your suggestions.
