Evening all,

Anyone have any routines /websites for programs using a free standing punch bag please.

I need something that is quiet strict/regimented as I get bored easily.

Cheers

Midnight...

Ideally you want a partner holding or standing by the bag and shouting instructions with various combinations, then come off the bag and go to pads & mitts doing a similar routine varying the combinations.

If you don't want to do that tape lots of various combo's and then play it and act it out on the bag.

Personally it's difficult on your own if you get bored easily, I never did, I just had scenarios going on in my head and acted them out in my training whether on a bag, pads or even shadowing, I won more imaginary fights than real ones

I honestly can't see watching a video routine helping you if you get easily bored, maybe going to a boxing club with other people around you may help and spur you on more?

Are you planning on getting into the ring or is this just a different fitness/training regime your looking at doing?

Hi young man,

Just doing a different sort of fitness, I already do combos and some shadow boxing but was wondering if any one with any experience of boxing had any routines that they did. I do like the idea of taping some combos and then doing that.

For me I seem to want to work harder and be more committed if I have a end goal .i.e a certain amount of days to do a program .

Thanks for the input mate.

Just put a photo of Jeremy Corbyn, or a politician of your choice on the punch bag, then pound it to your hearts content.
