The underdog, Paul Smith, fighting in Germany against the champ Abraham at super-middle weight, was absolutely robbed.

I know it's difficult to get a decision in Germany but the judges had it 117-111 twice and 119-109, when all observers thought Smith won by a couple of rounds, or at worst, a draw. Disgrace and fixed, tbh.

Same as the Klitscho [sp] brothers in Germany , thats why ive drifted away from a sport i loved watching .. dont even follow the results anymore , let alone watch it

Its becoming a joke, not just in Europe but over in the states as well.

Nowadays you've either got to win by a country mile or knock them out,and its been like this for years now.

Embarrassing decison once again from a German staged fight but it happens in boxing at all levels all of the time and I was once on the end of a very dodgy decison in a amature fight years ago and it makes you hate the sport. I just can't believe that decisions like these are not investigated properly and new systems put in place to make the sport fair especially at the top level like tonight.

when i was involved in amateur boxing we used to have a saying for certain areas that you had to knock them out to get a draw, that was 30 years ago and it still the same to-day,the sport is a sham.

It was a great effort by Smith and I feel for him being on the end of a ludicrous result. Abraham was flashier and more skilled in small bursts but Smith just kept going and his work rate was fantastic. He had a real steely look in his eyes throughout the fight and was clearly in better shape than the champ but, as others have commented, it was the tallest of tall orders for him to win in Germany.
