Do you mean Kevin Bridges?

Prefer a good sci-fi or fantasy novel myself.

the odd sporting autobiography can be entertaining as well.

A friend doing a de-clutter has given me a load of older paperbacks - she used to be a bit of a Sci-Fi fan - mainly Robert Heinlein and John Benyon Harris (aka John Benyon aka John Wyndham) and so I now have more than a dozen each of both authors. John Benyon Harris I know (having read a good few of his John Wyndham books) - though never read any of his books published as John Benyon - and have never read any Robert Heinlein - but by all accounts he is/was very good.

My friend is also a great Nevil Shute fan - and I have more than a dozen of his books now sitting to be read.

Both great story tellers, but a bit dated now.
Amazing how some fantastic imaginations completely missed the rise of the mobile phone tech. :)
