What are you currently reading and would you recommend it?

I'm nose deep in Raven Black by Ann Cleeves. I'd recommend it, good read.

Reading The Stack and Tilt Swing By Bennett and Plummer :DTook a backwood step this week in the first comp. so need to do some more reading :D

On a serious note Ive just finished, No Way Down, Life and Death on K2, great read and would recommend it.

I'm reading 'Genome- An autobiography of a species in 23 chapters' by matt Ridley.
I would thoroughly recommend it even for those with little interest in science in general. It's a fascinating outlook on the history of our species.

Have you read the Stieg Larsson Trilogy (lisbeth Salander) m8?

Amazing.

Andy
concur with that, she bought me the three for our holiday, at present reading all the Scarpetta novels.
She bought me the (what she thought NEW)Postmortum platinum edition and I then downloaded the complete set off e-books and have them on my DSi. on number 9 now

I am reading Northern Lights by Philip Pullman to my son who is 7. He loves it.

Ball Four by Jim Bouton. The sports book that changed sports books forever in 1970. Also the greatest baseball book ever written.

Read it at the start of every season.

Another gr8 series is Roy Grace by Peter James. And Dan Sheperd by Stephen Leather.

Andy

I know Peter James and lots of the characters in the Roy Grace books are my mates - real people! He often auctions a character in his next book for charity!

The only books I ever read were the Mr Men series. But I bought the Stieg Larsson trilogy and have to concur, excellent read.

Janet and John book 2 - nearly got the hang of it and hope to get to book 3 by Christmas but need some help with the long words

Timgolfy is always ready to put you right -he reads much longer words than the average golfer. ;)

I've always got a book on the go. I tend to find authors that I like and read all their books one after another.
Presently I'm reading A Quiet Vendetta by Roger Jon Ellory...very good.
Another recommendation is the Charlie Parker novels by John Connolly, a great series of books. Just be sure to read them in the right order.
