There have been a pile of suggestions on various recent booky related posts, Steve, so I won't go through them all. Maybe best to have a look. Instruction books, presumably. Personally don't find those of much interest any more. You can't beat a one to on lesson. You had any?

Thanks for replies, yes John Findlay had and having lesson each week, because before I started in October I had never hit a golf ball(besides crazy golf in my younger days with kids)so told best go to pga teacher from the start, with which I am pleased with my progress.I am enjoying it at the moment and thought I would look for a couple of books which might assist me.

My best advice would be to ignore the instructional books, Steve. Seriously. They'll turn your head to mince. Stick with the lessons and you won't get confused. I did!
