I know there is no link to the two, but since I started playing after a few months break in the winter this scenario has occured almost each time.

since joining my new club in Feb, I have had 1 sunny day - which was then accompanied with Gale force winds :)

Booked in for the next 3 sundays, expecting the weather forecast for the next 3 weeks to look like this. Is there anything worse than having a whole week of nice weather only to get drenched on the 1 day you have booked in the golf?

Also - not playing is not an option, cos as soon as my wife convinces me to go shopping (or similar) the weather takes a turn for the better and I regret not going. I will enjoy it all the same, but this forecast is becoming too regular

What I want to know is what clubs allow you to book three and a half weeks in advance? That's extreme isn't it?

I am booked in with the club this sunday and next. We can book 2 weeks in advance.

I am playing the Sunday after also - so 2 are booked with the club and 3 are booked with the wife :)

Can book 3 weeks in advance at my place. If it is a regular spot, you can sometimes go a bit further than that through the Pro Shop, if you sweet talk them!

4 weeks at my place for the top membership. working its way down depending on your membership level.

I've got a time on Saturday morning, the first time in five weeks that I've been well enough to play. The forecast has just changed from one rain drop to two rain drops...
