Booked a Club Fitting

Just booked a club fitting at the Srixon Centre of Excellence at Studley Wood GC. I'm pretty excited, been wanting some new irons for a while, and the new Srixon Z-series irons look incredible, and have the pro's raving about them on Youtube. It's £40 for the Iron fitting, and included in that is a ball fitting, which once fitted, I'm given £40 worth of the balls I've been fitted for.

I can't wait, anyone else been down to Studley Wood for a fitting? Thoughts on the new Srixon bats? Anyone else going to be taking the plunge?

Many many years ago but not since it became a Srixon centre, but its a separate bay from the rest of the range, you hit real balls and see ball flight plus all the other data etc that will be provided, should be an excellent set up for a fitting. They do most things well there, no reason this wont be done to a high level either, enjoy and good luck

Not been to the fitting centre at Studley Wood but there use to be a Srixon/Cleveland fitting centre at Maidenhead and I use to know the guy Dan who ran it and so got to play around with the different makes when he was quiet. Very professional set up and you should have a good time. The Srixon's do look nice

Thanks chaps, sounds good. Can't wait to get down there and start trying out the new range of stuff. Should be a nice upgrade from my 1998 Callaway Big Berthas!

Funny, Scott Gourlay, one of the top fitters here in the Edinburgh area was telling me the new srixon irons are going fast and he also thinks they’re the best irons he’s seen for a long time. If Scott says that then they must be good.

Yeah, all the reviews I've read about them are awesome. Rick Shiels waxed lyrical about the 545's in this video:
