I bought this book earlier this week and after many belly laughs I really liked it.

Note: I bought this with my own money, do not have a share of profits from it's sale, I am not polling opinion for a subsequent publication nor am I encouraging others to buy it.

I just thought I would post a link to it as anyone else struggling to come to terms with this game might find it interesting to consider...and yes, it's my review:

I actually buggered it up as I bought the non- pocket version but hey ho :p

Nice review Billy, well written as were the other reviews!

Seems to me you've bought the Aussie version of "Pocket Golf Rules"
From what I can gather it runs on a similar theme with the master and servant out for a round of golf. The servant being a newcomer, totally clueless and oblivious to the rules and the master being a seasoned golfer with a good knowledge of the game and rules.
It would seem the Aussie book is not written in the fairly dour and typically British way that "Pocket Golf Rules" is written. Humour seems to be included which i think lightens the whole atmosphere of the book.

Not actually read the Aussie book but imagine it contains similar aspects of the game.
Whereas the Brit book speaks of letting a fourball play through whilst looking for the ball, I imagine the Aussie version states "Come on then, play through yer barstards!"

I daresay Mr. Bradley and Mr. Rotella won't thank me very much for my thoughts(while having the last laugh at my expense for shelling out my readies for the privilage of owning their books of course)

Not expecting my reviews to appear in the sleeve notes of their subsequent publications anytime soon, :(
