If it's on the course itself make it ground under repair and carry on. Actually it is pretty sad. I was on Wimbledon Common for the London Scottish pro-am the day Rachel Nickell's body was found so I know how extensive the police activity is and it is always shocking even in this day and age to hear of a murder as it's someones son or daughter and maybe even a mother or father

I was shocked to read it as I used to be a member there. I resigned as I felt the place was going down hill a bit and letting in the wrong sort of people.

Seems I was right - just look at what one of them has done now!

It was Devils Dyke GC. Quite a nice track and like most Downland courses, very tough in strong winds but relatively tame when played in fine weather.
