Blue Mountain GC, Binfield, before it closes?

Spoken to a couple of forummers about the possibility of this. I know the course isn't in great shape, but with the imminent closure (April?) there was some interest in a possible meet there to send the course off with a round. Unfortunately the bar is closed now so no food / drink there afterwards, possibly someone a bit closer with local knowledge could suggest a watering hole afterwards.

Ideally a weekend, best get it in before the season kicks off and everyone is busy with weekend comps etc.

Any interest?

I will check the course condition and come back to you. Last I heard is that they shut the back nine for 2 weeks, probably for survey work. And I know that they haven't managed to cut the fairways for sometime and the greens were terrible.

Still some time for the course to recover a bit as it may not be closing till June now.

I will be up for one last, nostalgic knock around there if it's possible.
