Played in our Blues comp this morning---nice day until we hit the 9th and the the heavens open for the entire back nine.
7000 yds off the blues tough enough without the lousy weather playing havoc with the game.

Clubs, bag and waterproofs drying out in the garage at the moment.

Roll on the summer.

That'll be next June then?

Had an ok day down here - no golf for me. Fossil hunting expedition in darkest Gloucestershire.

Hope it dries out soon RGS

Played all day and apartfrom being overcast this morning it was warm and dry all day. Sadly the weather didn't help my game and the stuff you suffered today should hit us in time for the rush hour tomorrow.

Net 71 in September Medal dry all day yesterday and then out again this morning in the semi final of one of the top 32 qualifier then matchplay events. While it sprinkled the whole way round, it didnt take away from the chance to get out and play.
I managed to win by two holes (gave 7 shots away) and have made the first final since joining the club in early 2006. :D
Hopefully the weather will stay a little steadier until the end of the month, club championships are on the 20th (36 holes).

Cheers, Must be played by the 18th Homer, Looks like next Saturday or Sunday as the evenings are drawing in and I don't finish work until 5.30. The other semi hasnt been decided yet, one guy lives on my street and plays off 2. He hits it an extreme distance (4 greens at our course 300-370 yards are reachable for him) now Id be in the top 1-2% of the longer hitters but he is a step higher again. Looking forward to it regardless, would be nice to play him though.

Weather poor as per usual again today, played a team match, lost on the last green and got rained on for most of the way.
