Blisters!

Anyone got a miracle cure for blisters? I have 2 massive ones on my heels after wearing a £110 pair of new Nike Air shoes (hmmmm didn't get any blisters with my previous £30 adidas shoes....).
They are so bad I can't even wear socks, let alone shoes! Gone to work on flip flops!

Buy a pair of £30 adidas shoes!!

I've had about 10 pairs of adidas and never had a single blister, nike are horrible golf shoes IMHO. My mate got a pair and they wrecked his feet and he ended up flinging them out when they were about 2 rounds old.

they must be bad if you cant wear socks, i got a small blister on my right heel, but this is down to playing twice in a weekend which i havent done before

I've just got some new nike airs and they aren't to bad (the odd sore heel on the my right foot).
I know it's not ideal but i've found that if you double up your socks then this helps. Just take a good strong deoderant with you when you take your shoes off or you'll be killing the wildlife within a rather large radius

I've got a pair of Nike shoes, and I play five days a week with no problems at all

If I am using new shoes for the 1st couple of times I will stick a couple of the specialist blister plasters on my heels just in case.

I think it was the socks I was wearing to be honest - not really sports socks meaning my feet got quite sweaty.....nice.
Was hoping to play in a medal tomorrow.......no chance now.

When i was forced to go rambling from school, we were told to pierce the blister to let the fluid out. Then bung some germoline on it and a plaster. Must admit it worked ok and managed to carry on walking ok.

I've always used 2 pairs of socks to stop blisters forming with new shoes , it stops the friction.

I've also been an advocate of just bursting the blisters to drain the fluid , then plastering up and hoping for the best.

Never had a pair of Nike shoes and dont think i'm ever going to after the negative comments you usually hear about them.

It must be a question of your foot shape I find it the other way I can wear nike as soon as I buy them with no problems but after a couple of months find them a little soft but with Adidas they always give me blisters for the first few wears but then they become comfy and stay nice and fitted for ages

Dont pop them, it will slow down the healing.

Go get some Compeed blister cover up things and slap them on, they speed up the healing and take away the pain.

Take them back to the shop and get some FJ's.

Problem solved no more blisters.

I got the same with my Nikes on my toe next to my liitle one on my right foot after every round

I have a pair of £30 Adidas shoes. Owned them for around 18 months now. Never had a blister with them, dead comfy. Will probably get another pair when they wear out. Must admit to possibly trying out Footjoys though, they seem the dogs.

Wear two pair of thin socks.

Put plaster on heels before play.

Buy some different golf shoes.

Give up golf.

Never wear old socks with new shoes, always treat yourself to brand new socks. Always less friction with soft new socks.

I always put plasters on with new shoes but FJ are great out of the box

Footjoys I've had have always been like slippers, straight from the box, almost like they are pre-worn in.

The Shop owner musta seen you comming and sold you a overly priced pair of crap which already had a bad rep for using poor quality materials .

Nike have never been known to sell a product that really offers VFM compared to Adidas
