Blackmoor part 2

It seems I confused some good folk on here and probably myself when I suggested that Jan and I might play Camberley Heath on Sunday afternoon/evening before the Blacmoor meet, then Bearwood Lakes the day after.
As I have never played any courses down there it was only a suggestion put forward by me having been told that they were 2 courses worth playing.
It was always my intention to go along with whatever you guys suggest and will be lead by the nose to any course you think would be worth playing (except Lydd apparently)

Paul has now kindly invited myself and Jan to play Bearwood Lakes on the day before and would possibly be able to get a second tee time if needed. But I'll leave that up to Paul to arrange.
So, I'm looking towards you guys for suggestions of where to play on the Tuesday am.

Down the M25, pick up the M20 and keep going for a while. You'll end up in Lydd.
Should take you about an hour and a half to get there.
Highly recommended.

Doesn't take much to confuse me, but who are these good folk on here ?

Problem is that green fees for the good courses are very expensive in the area, unless you can get signed in. There are some cheaper goat tracks, although i can't promise they are Lydd standard.

If everyone who wants a game on the Sunday afternoon and/or Tuesday morning lets me know, i can look into the options further.

Would mention that Blackmoor was in great condition today, and the greens were immaculate. Best condition i have seen in the three years i have been a member.

I am able to get an extra tee on the Sunday afternoon so that leaves 5 spaces - please let me know who fancies it from the Blackmoor party - will try to get the tees sometime after 2pm.

There are plenty of places to stay around Wokingham and it is about a 35-40 minute drive to Blackmoor.

I am going to be busy golfing a lot, the weekend before the Monday is my club Championship! The weekend before that is the warmup, a Stableford off the blues! Man I am gunna be pooped when I get home from Blackmoor!

I need to double check the price, but I believe I can get 7 people on at Camberley Heath for £25 per person. Three of you would have to put up with me though, so I realise there will be competition for the slots in the other 4 ball

Are we getting a choice of Sunday venues now with Bearwood Lakes and Camberley Heath ? I feel this might make it worth my while coming down early on the Sunday and going home early Tuesday morning. Makes sense driving wise as I'd miss the traffic doing it that way.

Thanks Rich and Anthony for the offers and the other thread. Not sure of the best way to organise this but I will keep this as the place for Bearwood until we fill 8 places?

I am also off on Tuesday so could be pursuaded to keep the golf orgy going for a bit longer - altough I think we should start another thread for the Tuesday - not really sure of what to suggest as good courses are quite expensive and not sure what budgets there will be.

Don't know how many are looking to play Sunday but the sooner we confirm Bearwood and Camberley the better - then we can see who is left.

The new tiger tee on 1 should be in play as it is supposed to be ready for the club champs the week before - so we can start the round with a nasty new 430 yarder and an extra bunker! I hope the greens are still quick as they will be stupid quick scary the week before (circa 12-13 on the stimp - and they are a long way from flat)

Paul, i would like to give those travelling the furthest first option, as some of us who live locally, will hopefully, be able to play both courses at another time. If we can just get all the names together asap, of who wants to play which days, we can then allocate spaces. I will obviously be last on the list.
