Following on from another thread and others who have found alternatives, I have had a looks round to see cheaper alternative to golf pride multicompound. Found some black widow multicompounds at half the price has anyone used these and can share opinion?

I have one on my lob wedge, still fine now after about 2 years but the club is not regularly used. If I'm honest I think the grip is a little slim for my hands but that's not the grips fault.

They are a reputable company and produce a good honest product. They are a good price too and good looking. Good grip and feel. I cannot see you going wrong with them. Gamola golf do them at a goos price and you will get the genuine thing unlike many offerings on't bay.

My only experience of a Black Widow grip that came on a wedge my friend brought off eBay.

Seemd OK on wthe whole and for the price they are sold at seem a bargain.

Not for me though. I only like full cord grips :D

I like the Lamkin crossline and they are hard wearing. I've seen the black widow in the pro shop and they seem like a standard grip. Not too thin etc but I guess you can only really tell once they are on a club how they truly feel and last

Tried them as an alternative to Golf Pride Multicompound. They were OK (ish) but I replaced them within 6 months as they felt a little harsh and yet the wear was already quite pronounced.
