Biggest Up/ down round ever!!!???

Currently off 22 and was playing with my mate. Got 4 birdies, all of which for 4 points each, a ton of blobs, a ton of 1 pointers, and not a great deal of 2 pointers, how can i find consistency!?, if i could just put together a decent round my HC would drop dramatically, is it because i had not played in 18 months up until a month ago, really wanna get back into it now and give it my best shot. Should i be happy that i got 4 birdies or sad that i played awful?

The search for 'consistency' doesn't go away as you improve - and seems to me you have potential to improve greatly.

Be happy that you got the 4 birdies. The poor holes will diminish. The ability to get lots of birdies is envied by those of us who scrape the odd one even though pars are relatively easy.

And you'd make a great 4BBB partner for our 'Steady Eddie' style too!
