Afternoon all,
Just caught a video snippet of the action from Hong Kong and am having a debate with Tappers as to whether Robert Jan Derksen's hairstyle could be described as a mullet? Tappers has it down as more of a 'classic curtains' look.

Can anyone help resolve our disagreement?

It's very Faldo 1981!
Not short enough on top or at sides to really be a mullet, think I'm with Tappers on this.

It's a 'Dave Grohl' .

More of a grunge mullet than a classic rock mullet - but yeah, definitely a mullet, not a classic curtains. The secret's in the bit behind the head - same length.

Far too long at the back though Dodger. I grant you, he's not got the shaved sides though.
I'm not seeing a clear parting down the middle either so curtains are out.
Maybe he's going for a 'Clint Boon - Inspiral Carpets' type look???? :D

I think it's more of a 'long basin'.....it wouldn't take much to be a mullet though!!!
John Daly at Crooked Stick for the USPGA.....now that was a mullet and a half!!!!!

Last time I saw a mullet as good as that Hugh Fearnley-Whittinstall had it on a barbie. Mullet all the way, not far from a Michael Bolton.

Nope, not a mullet. Recently anyone with longer than average hair is accused of having a mullet. A proper mullet is a Waddle or Agassi style wig. Anything else is just long hair.
Much like any sleeveless jersey is now a tank top, when really it needs horizontal stripes to be a tank top.
