Bicycle Tyres

I've moved house recently and it's in relatively close proximity to work. So I'm thinking I might start cycling to work occasionally.

My bike is a carrera kraken so prodominantly a mountain bike but as I'm doing road cycling I'm looking for a 'semi slick' tyre. I fitted continental town and country a few years ago and there were great, good traction and rolled for days, I've also used schwalbe land cruiser as they are a bit chunkier and look more mountain bikey.

Anyone suggest any other tyres to look into? I'm looking at 26 inch and preferably 2.00/1.9 width. £15 a tyre as a ball park

Don't ken if you get them in your size but the Continental Gatorskin is a great tyre. I've done nearly 1500 miles with mine.

good decent tyre and decent price and also didnt loose the chunky look that some semi-slicks do....
