so I had a twinge in my shoulder this morning after cleaning the bathroom, but was playing today with mates so thought what the hell.

Couldnt make a full swing at all so just bunted driver on every hole, still going 200 + a bit of roll. Irons I clubbed up and 3/4 swing. Not one single 3 putt and apart from having an extra shot here and there due to short off the tee went round in net 67! (par 69 though)

I know come the KoK at Ealing I will probably have a full swing back but its definitely food for thought.

Anyone else found the same in the past?

Spent most of my rounds taking an extra club and hitting it 3/4

Lots more control on the shot and more control of my swing.

When amateurs go full out 100% when swinging that's when the errors occur a lot of the time

I have to say the greens were excellent and I had a few 1 putts. Tried the 25/75 format of 25% back and 75% thru that I saw on snedekers clinic vid :)

started the back 9 par, par, par, bogie then had a bit of a wobble but finished the back 9 with 42 and 47 on front 9, not too shabby at all for a hacker like me :D
