I was due to visit my 2 grand children after a range visit this afternoon. My wife was there already and rang to see if I was on my way, my little (just 2year old) beautiful granddaughter spoke on the phone and clearly called me grandad for the first time - I had the sloppiest smile on my face for the 10 minute drive - ahhhhh!

Isn't it lovely, for those with grand children !

I'm a granddad 4 times and great grand dad once, the thing is they all stay in Tenerife Golf del Sur.
So I force myself to visit them a few times a year. A hard job I know but someone has to do it.:whoo:

Just watched my 8 year old [only boy] grandchild's team win the under 9's football tournament in Ayr this weekend.
7 matches undefeated. I have to take him to the presentation later as mum is working.

It sure is.

I remember picking up my 2 Granddaughters from their first nursery school, and when they saw me looking through the glass window I could hear one of them say in a loud voice, "There's my Granddad!"

It was a great feeling! :)

Yup we had young Bradley tash last night and he slept from 8.45 last night til 08.30 this morning, I picked him up out of the cot and he was beaming. Had 15 mins in bed with him and nana tash listening to smooth fm. Changed his nappy half hour later and it was brimming with no 1s and twos. How can summat so small get rid of so much.
