I've just played Wynyard up in County Durham last weekend and it was £28 per person for bacon butty and coffee followed by 18 holes. The course was fantastic and so was the bacon butty to be fair. It was a fourball offer. Happy days.

What the hell is a "lakes" course?????

I the case of Lydd, it's like a golf course with loads of very wide ditches and lakes where the sole objective is for you to lose a minimum of 6 balls a round which keeps their "lake balls £1" basket regularly replenished

Me and 2 others have the North Shore at Skegness booked in a weeks time. For £87 we're getting a round of golf on the Saturday, evening meal, a room each accomodation, breakfast the following day and another round of golf!

Cant fault the value, especially at a weekend. (Got my waterproofs already to go!)
