I've just bought some golf gear from a mate of mine whose wife sadly passed away last year.
Would I be better off hanging on to it until the spring before selling it?
Just wondering.

He's more of an acquaintance than a mate, to be fair.
He said I was doing him a favour.
I told him what I thought it was worth, he told me what he wanted for it .............. job done.

Problem?

Oh, and thanks for your input.

I was having a convo with a mate the other day who had a trolley and shoes he absolutely hates but doesn't want to return so he was on about selling them on eBay. I said the best time is usually after the Masters has finished when all the wannabes golfers think it's a great idea to start getting gear in.

Nope no problem.
Hope you get a good price for them 👍🏻

Whenever I sell golf gear on ebay I time it for one of the majors. Definitely helps to sell and bump the price up. Equally if I am buying I avoid that period as you can see that prices are inflated.

I'd wait until The Masters if I were you.

Apparently, if you're ebaying it, work it to finish on a Sunday day evening to get the best prices.....

This, and always list it just before payday. When people are skint they're bored, when they're bored the surf the net and find stuff for a watch list!

I normally list mine on a 7 or 10 day auction where it starts 3-4 days before pay day and finishes the first sudsy evening after

What clubs are they? E-bay would be your best bet but if not Golfbidder may take them but won't offer great prices

There's a set of rocketbladez irons 3-SW, a G10 driver, a TM RBZ Stage 2 driver, a Ping putter, some TM Rossa putters, a couple of bags and a few other bits and pieces.
I've heard good things about the G10 driver so may have a go with it myself.
I'll not bother with Golfbidder for the reason you mentioned, but thanks for the advice .
