Opened my big mouth and said i'd sort out my local pub's golf h/c as their all moaning about each others h/c's, who, in your experience has the best site for this?, ta all,

I use skygolf.com. It's used for skycaddie scoring but you can input scorely manually. Tracks all the stats you want aswell.

Golf shake is quite good or download now free scoresaver2 software and do it at home on your pc?

I believe all such societies should have their own handicapping system - so that prizes etc are shared around fairly equally- it is meant to be a fun thing after all.

Something like winner losing 1 or 2 shots for an event or 2 - and maybe even a positive 'cut' (with no limit) if score less than a certain number of points (say 26 perhaps).

A pub social event shouldn't become so serious that you start arguing over the beers!

Pretty easy to knock up a simple spreadsheet to handle most styles.
