well guys as alot of you know i came back to golf this year after not playing for 5 years and my handicap now ia 6. Well lately i have been shooting 7 - 10 over par on average and i went out on friday and i shot a 79 which is 9 over part and seemed a bit gutted again as the easier 9 of the course is the front nine which am unable to play well at the moment and able to play well on back nine. Reason for this is down to my short game you need to have a good short game on front nine to score well but on the back nine its long so your mid to long irons for 2nd shots.

Well after my 1st round on friday i left it a few hours and the same group went out again in the evening and i started the same Par / Bogey / Bogey / Bogey and i was 3 over par after 4 holes and was talking about going for a lesson etc and then i started to steady myself out and scored this on the front nine

Par / Bogey / Bogey / Bogey / Par / Par / Par / Par / Birdie

Out in 38 which is 2 over par. Thought to myself thats not bad but it could of been better

Turned to the back nine and scored this

Bogey / Birdie / Par / Par / Par / Par / Par / Bogey / Bogey

Ended up with 36 on back nine which is 2 over par with a final total of 74. The last 2 bogeys were so silly as the 17th i was on edge of green a par 3 and i took 3 to get down which put me down a wee bit. Then on the 18th i pulled my drive into the rough and the ball was siting down so i played out and i ended up back of green on the edge and i ended up taking 3 again to get down.

All that was played off the medal tees which i thought was not bad.

Still going for a lesson this week to get a program started to get me improved.

:D
