Best Song - nothing made in 2019
Best Album - again 2029 terrible year for music
Best Podcast - Joe Rogan
Best Book - Fear Bubble - Ant Middleton
Best Radio - Talksport live coverage
Best Tweeter - No idea more important things to look at
Best Social Commentator - whats a social commentator ??‍♂️
Best Columnist - anyone that's not Laura Kuensberg
Best Beer - Guiness, the same beer I'd vote for every year
 
Read Border. Good, but not as good as the previous two. Chernobyl was excellent.

Music, don't listen to new stuff, or watch new films til they come out on Sky. Don't do series or box sets either, Chernobyl apart.

No ones heard of Richard Osman, the tall guy who does Pointless? Simon Mayo, been on the radio for decades now?

The vast majority of stuff on my list are recommendations from others who said I should give them a read/listen/watch. Note to do with my age as with the possible exception of Billie Eilish there's nothing on there to scare the over 50s, just interested in what others think is good out there.

Best Song - Ed Sheeran, beautiful people
Best Album - Lewis Capaldi
Best Podcast - Episode, joe rogan and Edward snowden. Series - you’re dead to me.
Best Book - havent read any new books, but best I’ve read this year probs jack reacher or bill bryson
Best Radio - Sad one, but I think five live coverage of Brexit has been excellent.
Best Tweeter - Not on Twitter. But I do check NLU during majors... favourite Twitter moment, reaction too zach Johnson tee shot hahahaha

Best Columnist - Not read a column in a while, but I don’t mind Laura Ks coverage on Brexit.
Best Beer - change it too spirit.. skull vodka. (Few year old but I got a bottle earlier this year. Really good). Owned by dan akroyd.

It’s merely someone who comments (commentates) on society as a whole and suggests change. They don’t have to be particularly left or right leaning. Piers Morgan might well be your commentator of choice on society these days! ?‍♂️
 
Best TV - Designated survivor s2. Chernobyl was good but I knew the story.
Best Song - Nothing from this decade.
Best Album - People still buy albums?
Best Podcast - Eh?
Best Book - I don’t have the time to read anymore
Best Radio - Don’t listen
Best Tweeter - Don’t tweet
Best Social Commentator - A what?
Best Columnist - Dear deidre. That’s all a paper is good for.
Best Beer - boddingtons. Watery, easy drinking. Can have 5 and drive.
 
Best TV - Rarely watch TV but caught a few episodes of Call the Midwife. Nice, wholesome gentle viewing.
Best Song - Been on a reminisce lately and have re-found some old Genesis albums. Ripples from the Trick of the Tail album.

Best Podcast - what is a podcast?
Best Book - A reread of When a lion feeds, by Wilbur Smith
Best Radio - The local Spectrum radio in Mojacar, especially the breakfast show.
Best Tweeter - what is a Tweet?
Best Social Commentator - Not sure I'm that fussed with listening to a baggy jumpered 'moral' compass.
Best Columnist - Read some great stuff across various platforms this year. No one immediately springs to mind.
Best Beer - Estrella.
