Given I didn't try any new kit in 2013, I'm not in a position to comment. The 2013 Z-Star was nice though, don't know if it was the best.

Can only speak on the models I've used, which of course are mostly in my bag! These are my best of 2013, but hardly any are brand new for 2013.

Best Fairway 2013: Taylormade V Steel (2006? Best one I hit all year)
Best Putter 2013: Odyssey White Ice 5 (finally realised IT'S NOT THE PUTTER, but the fool holding it)
Best wedges 2013: Cleveland CG10 (my old favourite)
Best Ball 2013: Titleist Velocity (only ball I've hit all year)
Best clothing: Nike Dri-Fit Trousers
Best Shoes: Nike TW13

Lesson was good cheers.... Luckily we hit down wind on the practice ground. I was impressed . He used his iPad to do some video stuff and pointed out subtle, but quite important swing faults. Really handy as well only being 20 mins from my gaff! Course and club looked good mate. Think you have made a wise move!

Best putter, who knows, but probably TM spider daddy long legs, 38"

Best wedges, cally forged.
Best clobber, not a clue. Probably m&s.

Only new club I've got this year was Taylor Made RBZ2 5 wood.

Best course I'd never played before - Blairgowrie Rosemount.

Best overseas trip - Miami and South Florida.

Best shoes - Ecco street - not worn another pair of golf shoes since I got them, slippers.

Best idea of year - getting regular lessons and working on my game.

Yes mate, decided to go on the morning of the Thursday. 8 over with 3 x 3 putts, drove it beautifully.

Superb mate! Thursday ended up Bieng the only nice day, would of loved to have joined you but I couldn't get the car.
