Best non-spinny golf ball

Balls advertised as distance balls will be low spin. Every range has some, so take your pick, although many are rather similar these days.

Are you sure you need low spin? Spin is important and helps the ball to stay in the air particularly if the player doesn't have lots of clubhead speed.

Low spin where?
Off the driver or around the green?

Most balls, even the premium ones, have pretty low spin from the driver. I suspect that, on a decent strike, you'd not find more than 500 rpm between them. And you could spin a TopFlite more than a ProV1 off the driver on a poor strike..
The big difference is around the greens. Spin rates between distance 2 piece and premium 4/5 piece balls are huge, maybe, 2-3 thousand rpm..!

I've used the Titleist Velocity exclusively now for 3 years and I'd say it was a low spinning ball. Had a dabble with the TM Project (a) at one point but spin with the driver was noticeably higher, or at least the flight certainly was.

Any Callaway ball....you cant spin a brick

Eh??

To the Op - as distracted by above :) - as stated any distance ball. One that's went the furthest for me and spun the least was Pinnacle Gold. TM RBZ ball was very similar if it's still available

Taylormade project A the lowest spinning ball I know of. And I have tried most and they are not a rock. Titanium is used to make the ball white.

Thanks all.

Should have stated before, I use a ProV1x at the moment but I'm getting a lot of spin off my driver.
I really don't like the budget distance balls, so I want a premium ball with some spin factor (especially around greens etc.), but less off the driver I suppose.

I doubt you'll find a premium ball that spins much less than the 1x off the driver...
It's what it's designed to do....

If that's the case then I'm happy and will stick with it.
I thought it probably would be.

Had a driver fitting and I was creating a hell of a lot of spin that's all.

Not sure where it would fit in with your idea of premium ball, but i have used the Srixon AD333 Tour for some time. I guess it is a bit of an 'all-rounder' and I think it is more than good value for the price of a dozen.

That's not because of the ball, that's because of where you're striking the ball on the face. Changing ball won't fix it.

Yep. A bit like changing shafts etc. It's all in the strike/AoA etc. Anything else equipment related is pretty much tinkering with the small end of the numbers.

Well the same fitting was giving me 4200 with some drivers and 2100 with others.
The numbers with the lower spin were great, so I figured the lower the better.
