My gps Golf Buddy hand held Platinum as given up after 5 years,(have tried to get it repaired to no avail) cost £300 5 years ago,I was very pleased with it but now face spending another £300 to replace it with a glof buddy pt4,bit expensive.
I was considering a watch type one,all I need is course recognition, green and hazard distance, shot length measuring,i am a senior citizen playing off 22...any advise please.rather not wear my glasses on the course, only need them for reading...HELP

I have had two in the past

Garmin Approach X40 watch and Garmin G8 Handheld - both excellent and both brilliant to use
